Self Empowerment

What was that saying…. “the truth will set you
free”? It sounded pretty good at the time I first heard it. But at the
time I did not have a good idea of what the word truth meant.
Fortunately I did have a thorough response from my "higher self" in answer
to my query. But getting a good definition for the word is not exactly
the same as knowing and experiencing the truth.
In our everyday interaction with society, it is
rather questionable if we are ever exposed to much of the truth. Or are
we? There is little incentive for social or political organizations to
give us a complete version of their portion of the truth. Most of what
we are offered is designed to foster the belief that we are powerless
and dependent. Powerless to do anything for ourselves and dependent on
outside sources for the services or products they provide. Then we find
ourselves giving away more of our power to these people and
organizations, fostering even more dependence. This is the current state
of our economic and social interaction on this planet.
Most organizations feel they could no longer exist
without creating a specialized group of mindless followers who are
totally dependent on their services and products. These include
political groups, medical institutions, organized religions,
prescription & non-prescription drug cartels, schools, etc.
Perhaps if we knew the truths our governments keep
from us we could make our own choices concerning our own well-being,
perhaps even wise choices. Is there a technology of free energy
machines, but is not being released so the oil cartels can continue to
make billions? Is it possible our government agreed to alien abduction
of it’s citizenry in exchange for alien technology? Is unrest perhaps
created and publicized to promote our dependence on our government’s
version of law and order? Or do we believe our government already tells
us everything we should know? A government interested only in control
has no incentive to release the truth.
Do we believe our sick care industry and medical
institutions (formerly known as the health care industry) when they say
there is no cure for cancer or diabetes. If we knew the cause of our
illnesses, would we still be interested in treating just the symptoms,
like all doctors currently do? Are the causes of illness perpetuated for
the sake of the economy? Was there a cure for AIDS before it was
intentionally released as a remedy for over population? Drugs, both
prescription and non prescription, are designed to foster dependence and
addiction, and the prices soar. Perhaps we need to be more responsible
for our own health care when we can, and not look to the outside for the
fix. An industry based on dealing only with symptoms has no incentive to
find and remove the cause of disease.
Why do religious organizations still foster the
belief that we need them as the go-between for us to speak with God. Do
we still believe that they have the hot line to God? I remember when
Oral Roberts said that God told him to raise $7,000,000 by the end of
the year or God would call him back to heaven. I was more than a little
skeptical. But was I skeptical because the God I knew would not say such
a thing, or was it because I was told by society that no sane person in
the last 500 years has had a two way conversation with God. Do you talk
to God, and does God talk back to you? When we attend church, chanting
group or global meditations, are we having a religious experience or is
it often just spiritual entertainment? We often give away our spiritual
authority to the latest guru or religious prophet. Religious
organizations are necessarily political in nature and have no incentive
to allow us to realize our connection with God. Spiritual leaders need
followers and have no incentive to actually set you free.
I won’t even go into the subject schools and the
mind numbing approach they offer to create non-thinkers, and prefect
cogs in the wheels of society and corporate enterprise.
The point is….self empowerment or the lack there
of. Do we ever hear the truth and would we recognize it if we did? We
hear a lot of things. We have access to alternative medical approaches,
unlimited new age internet information on every subject. But sometimes
it seems that we need hip boots to wade through it all. In this age of
unlimited information, our logical, linear mind is incapable of
discerning truth from fiction. Perhaps that’s a good thing, because
there is another way of looking at the universe. We have an intuitive
nature, under the guidance of our higher self.
Unfortunately this side of our nature has been beat
out of us over the past 2,000 years by a constant assault from people and
organizations with extreme control issues. Witches were burned at the
stake for speaking with nature spirits, using herbal remedies and
merging with the cycles of the universe. The masculine, logical mind is
now king and worshiped as a god. The feminine intuitive mind is shunned,
laughed at or attributed to the work of the devil.
Are we brave enough to cultivate this feminine
intuitive side of our nature, and allow it to be the guiding force in
our lives, as it was meant to be? We have no chance to change the
momentum of deception in the world unless we bypass deception by way of
intuition. When we know what is in someone’s heart (and in our own
heart), we cannot be lied
to. As we develop our psychic connection, experience our communion with
our brothers and sisters, deception will vanish from our lives. We must
be wise enough to seek those who promote self empowerment, whether they
are healers, philosophers, partners or spiritual examples. If you are a
new age professional, you must be moral enough to empower those who come
to you, rather than promoting dependence for the sake of money.
You are it. You can do it. You are the center of
the universe. You have all the answers. There is no authority outside of
yourself. If you need something, look inside and there it is. If you can
formulate the question, there is the answer. If you need healing energy,
you can channel it through your hands and fingers. Of course it is
important to remember that if you are “It”, then so is everyone else.
Are you brave enough to seek the truth, are you intuitive enough to
discern it, and are you wise enough, and empowered enough to serve it? |
