Native American Medicine Wheel

The following is presented as a preliminary introduction to a portion of the Native American Medicine Wheel as described in the book "Dancing with the Wheel", co-authored by Sun Bear, Wabun Wind, and Crysalis Mulligan. I am only presenting some of the information of the Four Directions and the Birth Totems at this time. This information gives a nice parallel to astrology. As in astrology, we should also give particular attention to our rising sign and moon sign as well as our sun sign.

I had the great fortune to attend a Medicine Wheel Workshop presented by Crysalis Mulligan, one of the co-authors of "Dancing with the Wheel", and am eternally grateful to her for opening this information for me in such an inspiring way.
